Winter Services
Clearing snow, treating ice, documenting your duty of care – with prepared procedures.

Snow-covered pavements, icy entrances and slippery operational areas impair access to your property – and you bear the legal duty to keep them safe (Verkehrssicherungspflicht). We take on agreed snow clearing and gritting on pavements, entrances, parking areas and operational outdoor spaces for companies, owners, property managers and public clients.
A reliable winter service begins before the first snowfall: together we survey the areas, set priorities – main entrances, heavily used walkways, operational access points – and agree deployment conditions and time windows. Clearing is done manually or with machinery depending on the area, and we select de-icing materials according to local regulations and surfaces.
In the event of persistent snowfall or renewed ice, pre-agreed inspections and follow-up deployments take effect. Documentation of every deployment creates transparency and serves as your proof of winter safety compliance.

Frequently asked questions about Winter Services
From when and in which time windows do you clear and grit?
Clearing and gritting duties follow the respective municipal bylaws – Troisdorf, Cologne, Bonn and Berlin each have their own rules on times and areas. We align time windows with those rules and with your operating hours, prioritising main entrances, busy walkways and operational access routes.
Which gritting materials do you use?
We choose gritting materials according to local rules and the surface – abrasive materials such as grit or granulate where salt is prohibited, de-icing agents only where permitted and sensible. After the frost period we remove the grit.
How do I prove that my road-safety obligation has been met?
Every call-out is documented with date, time, area and measure – as are weather-dependent inspections and follow-up visits. We provide this documentation to you; it is your evidence towards tenants, visitors and insurers.
Do you also clear car parks and yards?
Yes. In addition to footpaths and entrances we handle driveways, parking areas, yards and internal traffic areas – manually or with machinery depending on the area. For businesses with delivery traffic we align the order of work with your operations.
